Bungalows, a pool and a restaurant offer a quieter base outside the central streets, with dated guests pointing to practical compromises.

The setting is part of the decision

The Hidden Resort & Restaurant is in Bang Non, Ranong, in a green valley and stream setting away from the central streets. Hotels.com lists Garden Pavilion, Hidden Villa Double and Hidden Villa Twin categories, with double or twin beds according to type. Choose the named category deliberately when bed configuration matters.

An outdoor pool, restaurant and bar, garden and terrace, parking, Wi-Fi and laundry service are listed. Rooms include a refrigerator and private bathroom. The combination suggests a base where spending time on the grounds is part of the appeal, rather than somewhere chosen only for walking out into the town centre.

Peace, food and the practical limits

In March 2024, Tripadvisor reviewer alex4777 liked the bungalows and restaurant but advised having transport or arranging it through reception. The guest found pool sunbeds limited and reported the restaurant closed on Wednesdays during that stay. That is a historical observation, not a current weekly opening policy.

Stefan L’s January 2024 account valued the design and peace, while finding the pillows firm. Overthehill177, visiting as a driving stop in May 2023, liked the light room, comfortable bed, shower, pool and dinner but considered breakfast ordinary. The accounts show different experiences of comfort and meals rather than a uniform standard.

A better fit when the logistics are settled

If you intend to dine on site, confirm the restaurant’s opening on the relevant evenings and make an alternative plan for any closure. Arrange transport before relying on spontaneous trips into town. A driving stop or a stay organised around time in the garden may fit this setting particularly well. Someone who prioritises immediate access to central streets should weigh the transport requirement alongside the quieter atmosphere described by older guests.
