A Mu Si base outside the national park

The Focus Khaoyai Resort is at 369 Tamaprang 3052 Road, Mu Si, Pak Chong. It is near the Khao Yai entrance area; that location should not be confused with accommodation inside the national park.

Trip.com describes seven rooms with private patios, air conditioning, refrigerators, flat-screen televisions and private shower bathrooms. Parking, a restaurant, public-area Wi-Fi, a garden and picnic space are listed. The patios and garden provide outdoor space without implying a large resort complex.

Read the studio category carefully

The listed bed arrangements differ materially. The Friendly twin studio has two singles, the Lovely double studio lists a single and queen, and the Family Studio lists three singles and a king. Match the named category and sleeping arrangement to the actual offer rather than treating all studios as equivalent.

A Trip.com review dated 6 September 2024 found the bed acceptable and shower pressure good, but the pillow too high and bathroom somewhat old. This is an individual room experience, not a condition report covering every studio.

Recent reports make transport important

Gabriel B’s 12 April 2026 review liked the bungalow arrangement, owner and scenery. A door problem was repaired the following day. Kate, reviewing on 13 January 2026, appreciated clean rooms, the beds and a friendly host, but mentioned road noise, barking dogs, a hard pillow and difficulty reaching restaurants without transport.

That combination favours travellers who have a clear plan for meals and getting around. The scenery and bungalow format are attractions, while quiet nights should not be assumed from the garden photographs alone. Ask about the position of the available studio if sensitive to traffic or dog noise.
