The pool deserves a realistic description. The published facility label establishes its presence, but it does not establish swimming lengths, a large deck or resort-style grounds. A guest’s more detailed account describes a small cooling pool. That is a different attraction from a pool intended for exercise.
What returning visitors valued
Matt D’s January 2020 review, following almost a week at the hostel, praised clean air-conditioned rooms and staff help with maps. Early bag storage and water refills also featured in the account. The guest found shower temperature variable and compared the pool’s size to a hot tub, making clear that cooling down was its main use.
Penney P wrote in March 2019 about staying two nights and then returning for three more. Helpful staff member Shrimp and the cooling pool were part of the appeal; the review also mentioned a neighbouring rooftop bar. Together, these accounts suggest that personal assistance and a sociable location were as memorable as the rooms.
A small hostel rather than a resort
