Find the Phuket property under both names

Baan Malinee Bed and Breakfast is also listed as Villa Angelica–Baan Malinee. Its address is 38/189 Moo 4, Soi Baan Bangjo, Sri Sunthon, Thalang, Phuket. It should not be confused with a similarly named villa in Hua Hin. Searching both Phuket names is helpful when matching the property to a booking listing.

Rooms organised around the pool

Historical LetsBookHotel inventory describes seven rooms with Thai-style wooden furnishings, air conditioning, cable television and DVD equipment. Bath or jacuzzi facilities and direct pool access appear in the room descriptions. The small scale and relationship with the pool are more distinctive than a long list of standard amenities.

That listing also describes a restaurant, bicycles and beach transfers. Because the inventory is historical, ask about those services and the exact bathroom arrangement for the intended room. A transfer mentioned in an older listing should not become the foundation of a transport plan without confirmation.

Hospitality, planting and a need for transport

MiroJay’s December 2022 account described rooms around a pool amid tropical planting, thoughtful hospitality and enjoyable breakfasts. The quiet Cherng Talay setting was part of the appeal, but the guest recommended a car or scooter because the property was away from the beach. It is a useful distinction for travellers expecting to step straight onto the sand.

The same guest raised maintenance concerns

The report also mentioned dated furnishings and curtains, together with weak water pressure at the shower, basin and toilet. These are concrete reservations alongside the praise for service. They are observations from 2022, rather than a current inspection, but they justify asking about bathroom performance and recent room updates.

Baan Malinee’s appeal rests on its small pool setting and personal hospitality. The inland address and age of the detailed feedback make the precise room condition and transport arrangements particularly important when deciding whether that style of stay suits the trip.
